I was flying with Jim Newman one day when he took this photo of me in my Cessna 140. Notice the hazy conditions which kinda blend in with the clouds. Well, all of a sudden I found myself in the clouds with only a little experience under the hood learning to fly without the benefit of seeing the horizon. I did fine – kept the wings level using the turn and bank, kept the power steady and DID NOT look out the windshield. About 30 or 40 seconds later we popped out of the clouds and all was fine.
